Chris Denton
Chris joined the Denton Law Group as an attorney in 2014. During his time
here as an attorney, he has handled an array of court appearances, including
dozens of "Meeting of Creditors" with the U.S. Trustees Office
and multiple appearances in the Federal Bankruptcy Court for the Southern
District Court of California. Prior to becoming an attorney, Chris worked
in various capacities at the Denton Law Group since 2009. This experience
has provided him with an in-depth knowledge of bankruptcy law, enabling
him to provide his clients the help and information they need.
Chris is licensed by the Supreme Court of the State of California to practice
law in all Courts of California. He is admitted to practice in the United
States District Court for the Southern District of California, including
the Federal Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of California.
He is a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law. While in
law school, Chris participated in the school's Intellectual Property
Moot Court competition, in which he received impressive scores for his
oral argument. As he excelled in his trial advocacy classes, Chris continued
evolving his innate communication skills, which he now applies in the
courtroom as an outspoken advocate for his clients.
Prior to law school, Chris received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration from California Lutheran University. During his time at
CLU, Chris lettered all four years on the university’s football
team as the Strong Safety. He was a member of the 2007 SCIAC Conference
Championship football team, and was voted to the 2007 All-SCIAC Conference
Defensive team.
In his free time, Chris enjoys golfing and is an avid fan of all San Diego
sports teams, especially the San Diego Chargers, the San Diego Padres
, and the San Diego State University Men's Basketball team.
